About Royal Oaks Aquatics
What is it?
The ROCC Swim team is a summer swim group for ROCC member children between the ages of 5 and 17. (All swimmers must be able to swim a 25 yard length of the pool by themselves.) The team competes weekly against other Dallas Area swim clubs in their division. All divisions compete against each other in the Champs Meet at the end of June.

Volunteer Commitment
Each family will be required to volunteer for one full meet or two shifts during the swim season regardless of the number of meets your child attends. An additional $200 fee applies to those not wishing to volunteer or those that do not complete their required two shifts by the end of the season. Volunteer positions include:
- HEAD TIMER - The Head Timer will have 2 stopwatches in case a timer needs help.
- TIMERS - A Timer will be responsible for timing swimmers during the swim meet. There are 2 timers in each lane (one from Royal Oaks and one from the opposing club) and one timer from each lane will record the times on the sheet to be turned in to the coaches.
- HEAT AWARD DISTRIBUTER - The Heat Award Distributer will hand out a prize to the winner of every heat.
- READY BENCH - The Ready Bench volunteers will help get the swimmers lined up and ready to swim each event.
