Coaches
Peron Jones has served as the Royal Oaks swim team coach for the past 34 years and has been the aquatics director at Royal Oaks Country Club for 35 years. His goal is to make the ROCC swim experience a blessing for each swimmer who joins the Hammerhead family. Hopefully, each swimmer will develop a love for the sport of swimming and make it a lifetime sport of health and fitness. The focus of the ROCC coaching staff is to provide a positive, fun environment for each swimmer, so he or she can learn and grow by challenging themselves to be their very best both in and out of the pool.
Also, Peron was the Prestonwood Christian Academy high school and middle school teams for 19 seasons and is currently the middle coach at Parish Episcopal School. He has been married to Carol Anne McAllister for 43 years. They have two daughters, JJ and Jessica. JJ, 40, has a ten-year old daughter, Skyar, 7-year-old step grand daughter Bradi and 4-year-old step grandson Banx. Jessica, 37, has taught special ed at Allen High School for 10 years, and is a personal trainer, while JJ is the head volleyball coach and assistant girls campus coordinator at McKinney Boyd High School for the past nine seasons.
Allison Ritter swam for the Royal Oaks Hammerhead swim team for 12 years and has coached for 17 years. She served for six years as the pool manager. Allison graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2016, where she majored in Educational Studies. She has been a special ed teacher at Highland Park High School for six years., Allison was inducted into the Royal Oaks Hall of Fame inaugural class of 2019. She has been married to Nick Rhyner for four years.
