We have talked to the neurosurgeon and the general surgeon and they think it is a benign tumor a Schwannoma. It is the size of a softball, and it extends out of the L1 nerve so now they have to determine how they're going to approach it. The neurosurgeon has to do his part and then the general surgeon does the main tumor which is in the abdomen, fortunately it has not affected any of her organs yet it has deteriorated part of her vertebra so this neurosurgeon is going to have to put screws in a rod in that, but it will only affect her function as far as her hard workouts that she does. She'll still be able to work out, though the doctor thinks she has had this for many years and it is just grown to the point that's causing some problems. We're not sure when she'll have surgery. They will determine that once she has her MRI today to see if they have to go in sooner or it can wait so she may be discharged as early as tomorrow.
